Im about to order an oem rear diffuser for the Evo, also known as the "rear extender". However, it is stated that they only fit MR models on certain websites. Aren't the GSR and MR rear diffusers the same?

 

Post a pic of the diffuser you are looking at buying. I can't imagine they are different but a picture would help make sure we are all thinking of the same thing.

That's what I want, but they say it only fits the MR? I just want to be sure that it will work on GSR's as well before I get it.

 

I would have said they are the same as well but Lancer Shop is so specific. They sure look the same but the details regarding model year an type warrant a phone call to make sure. Alternatively, call Fred Bean Parts or a dealership to see if the part number is different for the GSR and later model years.

On a related point. Did you damage yours somehow such that you need another? Have you looked at the part out section to see if someone has one for sale?

 

UM.... What? What happened to your rear diffuser? I have an OEM one on my gsr seeing as that is how it came from mitsu.

Also are you looking for OEM or JDM?
