Please search because many magazines say after a few hard braking in track days 370z's brake system suffers, they're also notorious for their over heating engines due to new front bumper design IIRC

 

350 and 370Z's are one of the highest death rate cars in Canada. No one dies in an Evo X

 

Since you've already driven an Evo, Evo all the way. I think you will get tired of the 370z quick. If I had money, I would DD a 370z nismo for sure though.

 

YUP... I went to Nissan and checked 370z yesterday.. if i need sounds system and sports package.. it comes up $40000 out the door... i was like.... wow.. are u kidding me? I ask the salesman that i had evo x before, and he goes " oh.. it's a nice car, but there is no way that you compare the z and evo, our big "Z" is way better and faster than you little evo. " " so is that possible that you could gave a better price on Z for sounds system package and sports package?" i said. " m...... i think i might able to take down 1k off from MSRP, so it's gonna be 39000 before tax.." " oh, thank you very much for your help, and i will think about it ( see ya, loser ) " i said. Why Z is so much more than X???... i got my EVO X with SSS package for 33000 out the door...

They also pinned the Evo X against the 370z directly, and the Evo came out on top (can't rememeber that magazine at the moment). Tell that Nissan salesman to take the wool from his eyes and put the crack pipe down with his nonsense.

The 370z is a nice car, but it's definitely no Evo. I do like the V6 it has, however 2 seats and 2 doors can get old really quick.

i'm sure about getting X again.. i just wanna hear what ppl say about z and x. But it's funny, when i went to dealership to check z... it's always out of stock, and salesman always said it's too popular and it goes quick... i think maybe it's no one wants it...

370z is of course a nice car. it's a freakin 370z.
But the evo is also nice... it's a freakin evo..

both are different cars meant for different purposes but i'm sure both are amazing cars. but if you get a 370z, you won't really have a special/unique car. here in dallas i see like 5 z's a day..... but i'll get lucky if i see one evo in a month...

 

I'd say the evo all the way. The Z is cool but not pratical and not that fast to be not pratical. If you really like the Z and have some spare $ you can alway buy it, try it and get an evo later.

Other cars to consider would be. Redesigned Subaru WRX next year, Genesis coupe, Golf R, Mustang GT or maybe a boss 302 if you're thinking about 39K. I'd bet the boss would hold resale better than the nismo.

Im guessing you went with the evo lol, nice choice the 370z is a nice car and looks mean as hell, but after owing an evo and a 350z, ill stick with the evo. Reason i could never get anything to fit in my z, i could only carry one passenger. After owing a car with boost, i dont ever see me going back to NA and if i do i need to boost it ASAP haha boost is way to fun

You had a 2010 Evo X GSR you say... which you totalled you say... but you're asking Evo people, at an Evo forums whether to pick another Evo or a 370z... here I haz questions for you, friend of mine:

1 - Don't you already know what an Evo is since you recently owned one?
2 - How can we give you an opinion on a 370z when only but a handfull of guys/gals here have ever owned a 370z (and most likely traded back for an Evo )
