He means it looks good without the wing (the wing can be removed pretty easily). AND congrats on the purchase! The MR's look so good stock with the BBS wheels.

Oh I get what you guys are referring to; yes, I like the Evo X without a wing also.

I want to get a top-notch security/alarm system on my car asap. I have been researching and I hear a lot of good things about the Viper 5901 system. Anyone have suggestions?

I also would like to do some general/low level performance modifications to the car....things that will make it perform better but not cost 2k+...If you have ideas, feel free to share. Thanks!

I have a Clifford IntelliGuard 950, have not installed it yet, so I guess I wouldn't have any more insight than you, but from whats in the box everything looks high quality and not a cheapo kit.
The Viper 5901 system seems to have the best reviews....It says that the manufacturer of Viper products also owns Clifford. The company name is "Directed Electronics." It cost $500 but Idk about installation cost.

I have the 5901 with auto start, proximity sensory, and a few other options. It works great except the remote batteries die quickly. It has the one mile paging remote which is nice if you are in the mall and someone sets it off. Anyways car looks great enjoy. I just picked up a new evo x and still have my evo 8 as my fast car.

Don't mod it. It's been stock, keep it that way. The Transmission is expensive if you ever need to replace it. ($8,000+).

Congrats! Truly the best color for the X, but I may be biased.
