MAPerformance Question: Is it normal?

I have placed my order three weeks ago; however, they haven't sent my order yet. Is it normal? They told me that they would send my order in two weeks but it didn't happen...

So, if here is anyone who dealt with MAPerformance before please let me know.

I nearly spent $4,500 and waiting them to be shipped. I don't know whether or not I should deal with them again for my next upgrade, which is the engine parts. Please look what I have ordered and tell me if this takes more than three weeks. Thanks!

PS: I ordered

(1) MAP EF2 Stock Frame Turbocharger
(2) ID 1000cc Injectors
(3) MIL.SPEC 64mm Throttle Body
(4) MAP Stainless Steel O2 Eliminator Downpipe
(5) MAP Short Runner Tubular Stock Replacement Exhaust Manifold
(6) Grimmspeed Exhaust Manifold to Turbo Gasket
(7) MAP Rev 2 Intake Manifold

... and few more stuff.

One possibility is that you didn't follow the instruction on their website when you placed your order. After all, you don't seem to be following the instructions on this site.

MAPerformance is by far the best company I've ever dealt with to date, service and parts are industry BEST... Keep in mind that right now with the weather getting nice all over the world, there are many people ordering their parts, that means a lot being that there are lots of other vendors that have (other) parts, but MAP is internationally known... With that being said they don't cut corners or take shortcuts to lower their fabrication times, I believe they did just hire some extra help to keep up with increased demand...

Be patient my friend, when you get your parts the fitment and quality will be top notch!!

Don't hesitate to call and check on the status of your goods they always answer and will let you know a better time frame...

MAP FTW!!!

My guess is they are waiting on the mil spec 65mm TB as it is a 3 week process. Call them up, they are great to deal with.

I sincerely apologize for the delay here sir. Based on your list in the first post you've got three items in there that we build to order; the turbocharger, the downpipe, and the ported intake manifold. As feautoevo mentioned this is the busiest time of year from us and quite honestly we got overwhelmed and it has been causing longer delays than normal. With that being said, I would be happy to check on the status of your order, feel free to shoot me a PM Again, my apologies for the delay.

MAP has helped me out of some tough jams parts wise. Great company, great service, fast delivery & I definitely spread the word when I can. They usually get my business first before anyone else.

I would think a PM, phone call or email would have been the best route for this type of issue..... just sayin

Yeah I order from MAP and got it in like 3 days. I know when I ordered from STM i had 2 things on back order and they waited to ship all at once. I just called and asked them to ship the other parts i needed. Just give them a call and talk to them.

Between October and December of 2010, I ordered about 4000$ worth of stuff from MAP, including the Rev 2 intake manifold, Rev 2 exhaust manifold, MAP 02 dump housing, cams, springs, retainers, fuel pump, injectors, head studs etc... Every part showed up as expected, and every order made it within the time I was quoted. Customer service was also excellent, they were an excellent company to deal with. I plan on ordering a clutch, brake pads and rotors from them in the near future.

You can trust MAPerformance man. Maybe it's taking a little longer, but they're making you quality parts.
