O2 housing removal
O2 housing removal
After many hours, numerous F bombs, and some gashed up hand I finally have all the bolts out now the only hold up is the 14mm nut you have to approach from the drivers side....any tips?
I got all my bolts off from the passengers side. Put an extension on a socket and yanked on it over the engine from the passangers side. Hope you soaked it in pb blaster first for at least 4 to 6 hours
yes i removed the arm also they do make open ended sockets ( I didnt need to use one ) in case you are having clearance issues. come to think about it I might have used a ratcheting wrench to get that one. Keep at it though I know that last bolt took me like 4 hours+ of just messing with it, I would get pissed off making sure it doesn't strip and it wouldn't budge. I'd just go do something else then come back try it again until it broke loose.

yup, remove the WGA arm and BOOM box end fits right on with plenty of room to move. Only bolt not able to to be reached from the top (for me anyhow) was one one the bottom that I had to go thru the passenger side wheel well. The only tools I had was a Craftsman box set I got for Christmas like 10 yrs ago!! Typical sizes of metric and standard sockets and wrenches and I went out and bought a few extensions for 3/8 drive…..takes patience patience and MORE PATIENCE oh and a bottle of PB Blaster haha!
