Wanted to ask you X guys/gals

Wanted to ask you guys since I am assuming you have owned both cars I am going to talk about.

Would you get a 2006 evo with 30k-40k miles or an RA 2008+ with lower miles?

I am just trying to keep my options open and would like to hear what you guys think.

Thanks!

06 Evo. You'll be a lot happier with the twin scroll turbo and 10.5 hot side.

Go with the evo, you wont be disappointed. Just make sure it wasn't abused.

You can always rebuild an engine / tranny on an 06 evo but you cant repair a 12k transmission on a 2008+ RA

You can actually repair the sst trans... Call SSP or Shep, or jacks transmissions they can repair the SST transmission and it also doesn't cost all that much either. maybe they'll chime in with some basic services they offer for this trans.

Get the Evo. I wish I would have gotten an Evo from the start instead of getting the RA first... Also, I kept thinking, "Damn, should have gotten an Evo." It would have saved me a lot of money.
