Brake Squeal on Evo X

So I have some light, but noticeable break noise under light break pressure. Car has 15k on it, so I wouldn't think they are bad. I also had them check at my last trip to the shop, and they said everything is fine. I have heard something about better brakes, like the Brembos on the X, having some inherent noise because they grip so well. Does anyone else have this, or is there something more I need to be worried about?

Yep it's normal. It usually happens when they're cold!

This is normal for the stock Brembo/Ferodo pads.

Seems like it only happens to me when I'm reversing. Mind you I only have 500 km on my car lol

If it makes you feel any better the GT-R breaks do the same thing

Abrupt stops will make it worse along with braking in wet weather and sand on the roads. I was in the highway and had to stop really quickly i ended up glazing them and had a squeek after that

What kind of pads are the stock ones on Brembo's? Mine make same noise and creates lots of dust.

What's a good upgrade?

Stock Brembo pads are made by Ferodo. My favorite DD street pads are the RacingBrake ET500's and Stoptech Street Performance pads.

At least I'm not the only person with fairly new Brembo pads that is experiencing squealing.
