Help! The screw which hopes the wheel is broken

Sorry for typo on the topic. It should be "holds" instead of "hopes"

Help! The screw which holds the wheel is broken.
One of the five screws is broken.
Is it safe to drive?
Is this part under the warranty?
If, not how much is it to replace that part?
Actually I do not know how that part look like. Are all five screws along with the metal disk as one part, and I have to change the while disk?

Are you talking about the wheel studs? No, don't drive it with a broken stud, it will need to be replaced. Depending o n what happened it could be under warranty, that will depend on what your dealership says.

Yes, I found that it is called the wheel studs.
However, what should I do if I can't drive it to the dealership?

You could have it towed to the dealership. Do you have triple A? Does your car insurance offer roadside assistance? Will your dealer cover the tow? I would see what options are available to you.

Your wheel isn't going to come off if you drive to the dealer....
Just go slow and be careful.

Went too far when screwing the bolt. However, I don't really think I can break it as I used the "screwing bar", don't know the name of that tool, that comes with the car to do it. I am not that strong either. It just do not make sense for me either.

Lug wrench...or tire iron...but yeah, i would say a little weird but if you weren't doing it correctly...possibly. how much of the stud broke off?

I agree with the OP. You can drive it to the dealership but take it easy on the car and don't drive around with out it for a while. They will just have to replace the wheel stud.

The broken surface has the same height as the wheel surface that touch the bolts.

if you have warranty go to dealership...if not wheel stuff is about $3-5 and you can do it yourself or decent shop will charge $15-20... and if its only 1 wheel stud you can drive on it but be slow and change it asap

The screw which hopes the wheel is broken
I thought this was referring to some kind of Chinese philosophy.

Kind of surprised he was talking about a wheel stud.

There was a typo there, sorry about that.
I am not an expert of car, so I usually don't know the name of the parts.
