...drive it from Indiana to Rhode Island!
I picked my 2010 PB GSR up from Indiana two weeks ago and I am finally getting around to putting up a thread introducing myself. I really needed to clean the car but I was busy with work and then it kept raining so I finally got around to it today. I bought it with 12,050 miles on it and got two sets of wheels/tires for the deal, stock Enkei's with Conti DWS and Rota GForce 18x9's with the stock Advans.
I drove straight through and made the trip in 12.5 hours (plus 1.5 hours of stopping). Left at about 12:30 PM on Saturday afternoon and got in at 2:30 AM Sunday morning. Lots of coffee and 5 hour energy was involved! Just a quick review of my trip, I took I-80/90 E through Ohio and then split off to take 90 into Pennsylvania and into New York, where I hooked up with I-86 E. 86 was great, got to go up and down through the mountains and the lanes are split by a wide valley with few on/off ramps, so little chance for a cop to surprise me. That goes up to Albany and then meets up with 90 again to go through central Mass and from there just take Rt 146 down to Providence. All in all a pretty standard drive, nothing too crazy. And I would totally do it every time for this car, I'm in love!
I've had a great time so far and I plan on getting involved in some auto-x, rally-x and maybe a track day if I can.
Buying the car put my bank account down a lot so mods won't start happening until the spring, time to start saving! Here are some pics...

NIce dude! We are gonna have to meets up an cruise at some point. I did the same thing as you picking the car up a except mine was only 8 hours away in PA. Good luck with it!
Where do you plan on taking it for service calls and whatnot?

I actually just went to Central Mitsubishi today to get my TPMS system looked at and an oil change while I was there. They were great for service but the price was a bit steep for an oil change, so if you or anyone you know (or anyone reading this who lives close by) has some jacks, stands and an oil pan to hold used oil, I would appreciate it next time haha

Don't say drop....say better or stiffer suspension...saying drop means you just care about looks....my car came dropped cause the donkey cut lowering springs just for the stance and ofcourse I bounce around and it's crap. Not hating just my opinion.
Your pictures make me miss my 2010 PB GSR so bad!! I picked up a 2012 MG MR a few weeks ago. The drive through NY has some pretty good scenery. Drove on that highway to/from Watkins Glen International.
Congrats on the car!!!

Congrats!!! I just purchased my '11 PB GSR three weeks ago with 40 miles on the clock(never titled) Hopefully you're enjoying yours as much as I am, just wish we had some roads like yours down here in souh florida(hate flat straight lines)
Absolutely love road trips, and at least you already have one of the most important mods out of the way, wheels. The car looks amazing, I wouldn't do much to it anyway but lower it. It looks perfect

I would love a long drive. Congrats on the purchase clean looking evo!
