Sputtering/Shudder Sound - Boost leak?

I am getting a sputtering(almost sounds like something metal vibrating) for about half a second under wot in medium to high rpm range. The car pulls hard and does not hesitate. I am hitting 26psi and wondering if it could be the BOV leaking? I have read that stock doesn't hold more than 25. I will get a video if it continues to happen. I am all stock with a cobb stage 1 with boost pill removed. Just wanted some thoughts. I know its not very much info. I will try to get the audio.

Go back to the stock tune and report back if it still does it.

Maybe. Why did you remove the boost pill? The stage one fueling maps are not calculated for that. Im guessing no wideband either? Keep dicking around and you're going to break something.

Also check if the sound persist at that RPM while not in gear just sitting. If it does, then you've just got a rattle, probably exhaust shield.

I was not hitting boost targets. It was cobb's recommendation to remove the boost pill.

The car doesn't hesitate though. Feels smooth. Just a noise.

When I have time, I will do some more data logging and compare to stock tune.

on a stock tune? You can't be serious. You called Cobb, told them you aren't hitting your boost targets, but declined to mention you don't have a tune You are gonna blow right up hahahahahahhahaha

what are you talking about? I am running stage 1 and they told me to remove the pill to hit the stage 1 target. Im sorry, but I dont think you know what you are talking about or you are not reading carefully enough.

If anyone else thinks its unsafe to run without boost pill with cobb stage 1 tune then please chime in. I highly doubt cobb would be suggesting something that is unsafe.

sorry there I went full retard, had two windows open and though I was on Evo X

Anyways

I doubt it's your BOV. What is the result of just revving the engine not in gear? Same vibration?

np, I get scatter brained all the time.

I have not tried that yet. I will add that to my list of things to try when I troubleshoot.

I have been running this setup for over a year with no issues. I am try to think of anything. I now start thinking like, what if I put 87 in by mistake. Im 99% sure i didnt but cant prove it. Wouldnt I see crazy knock if that was the case?
