I’m not buying one, I already have my Evo X. I was getting an oil change today and walked around the lot and found this.
I was very surprised that NM got the first 2013’s, unless another state got them already. Can anyone chime in? Maybe Mitsubishi felt bad for not sending any 2012’s to NM last year. This dealership got no 2012’s. Also, one year ago this same dealership told me that the 2011 X was the last in production. Now they said that the X will continue on and on.
We chatted for a bit about the whole going green thing. They told me that Mitsubishi has enough green cars to keep the evo alive and it should be continued. Who knows what to believe, especially out here in NM, but I was happy that the Evo might survive the test of time...
Anyhow, the 2013 looks just like the other years for the X. Some interior difference from my 2010. This shop has two MR’s and two GSR’s up for grabs. Not many takers in Albuquerque because I’ve only seen a few of them on the road in the past year that I lived here.
They were shocked when I told them that the dealership in CA were I bought mine had about 20 Evo X's on the lot at the time. Apparently most dealerships only get one at a time. I guess Mitsubishi favors CA for these cars. This time four arrived in Albuquerque.

I tried buying one from socal Mitsu but wasn't able to work the logistics of shipping my car to them and the Evo to me. I live in podunk Huntsville AL where the Mitsu dealer hasn't carried an Evo since have 3 of the 8s wrecked on test drives in 03. I ended up driving to a dealer in Atlanta, who had 6, to get mine for $1k under invoice, and matching a Carmax trade-in on my MS3, the same deal I had with SoCal Mitsu.
Once upon a time (05/06 time frame) back when I lived in Houston, Gillman Subaru and Mitsu would have anywhere from 12-16 Evos and 20+ STIs at any given time. It was like heaven seeing all of them lined up on the lot.

I hated the stealerships there. Bought my IX MR at Casa(?, the one on Lomas). They screwed me good on price.
I'll most likely pick up my X from SoCal instead of here in Houston.
