Evo X model weight difference
Evo X model weight difference
Does anyone know how much heavier an Evo X GSR with sunroof/Leather, sight and sound and navi is compared to a base model Evo X?

Shouldn't be more then 100 pounds or so.
The biggest weight difference comes from the car being either a GSR or an MR.
If I have to guesstimate I'd say
50 pounds or so for Sight and Soudn (HID ballasts, Amps, Subwoofer)
20/30 pounds for leather vs cloth.
100 pounds for sunroof.
200+ pounds for SST + extra sound insulation.
Again a guesstimate on my part.

There are some good posts that list the weight of almost every removable part of the Evo X. Here's one:

That said, I've found that whole car scales or corner balancing scales can be quite different, and can vary by 40-60 lbs. I suppose, in the overall scheme of things, this doesn't make much difference unless, like us, you are weighing the car to ensure we comply with a class rule (hp vs weight). Your best bet is to find a scale and use it as a benchmark to weigh the car, and then use the individual component guide to get pretty accurate perspective on the weight differences of specific pieces.
