All, I just wanted to start a thread and say how refreshing it is to browse through this forum and interact with you all. I've posted a recent thread (f150 to evox?) and must say it is nice to get objective opinions on a forum specific to Evos?

I spend a lot of time on svtperformance.com (which is a great site), but I find this site more fun!

You will find some hard asses on here at times, but not any different then other forums. Most people are very helpful here. Hurry up and buy your evo! You'll love it, I promise!

 

^ mostly in TBR lol, but its all in good fun. There is one guy who is a smart *** know-it-all all the time but i wont mention names.

True car enthusiasts appreciate all types of vehicles and their owners as well. I have always had the hots for a SVT Cobra and I pant when I see a nice Ecoboost F150. So, having you on the forum and expressing your interest in an Evo X while owning the cars I mentioned, makes it all the more fun. Heck, we have a guy on here with a new Evo X and Shelby GT 500. For me, I never could understand narrow minded partisan comments that says such and such a car is the best and every other car is a POS. Glad you are on the forum and share more about your Cobra.

 

Exactly! I came from a Cobra to an Evo as well and I also like this community a lot.

I used to hang on moddedmustangs back when I was a newb . You'll find a lot of good information here on this car. Probably the best archive there is for the car honestly....

Agreed. This forum was part of the supporting reason I made the leap to buy the car I had been wanting for a long time. There is a strong community support with (mostly) level headed people that help with problem solving where Mitsubishi dealer network lacks. A lot more appreciation for automobiles and a lot less bickering.
