Mobile 1 advance fuel economy
Just my opinion, but anything designed for fuel economy is probably not what you want for your Evo.
EDIT:
I saw you listed an FP Black as a future mod. With FP turbo's you'll want to stick to Brad Penn, Valvoline VR1, or like Amsoil Dominator

+1 when I had my S197 Mustang GT I was warned to stay away from fuel economy oils especially Mobil 1.
They achieve their claim by making oil that's way too thin. It broke down too easily and left you with oil that burned off leaving your engine vulnerable. I can't imagine how bad it would be for forced induction!
EDIT: Staten Island NY?!? shouldn't you have bigger concerns than which oil to run in your Evo?

first thing I read
Fuel Ecomony Oil + Evo = lol
Joking aside , I would stay away from all sorts of specialty synthetic oils.. they usually have additives that break down under extreme heat ( ie the oil cycling on the turbo).
I've seen way to many turbo siezed because of crappy oil over the years.

IMO, if you've never opened up your engine and you're on stock turbo, Mobil1 is fine. However, changing it frequently, especially if you do track days is key.
If you've swapped your turbo, go by whatever the turbo manufacture recommends, but most will agree Brad Penn, VR1, Amsoil Dominator, or Redline isn't a bad choice.
If you are swapping internals on your engine, Follow the directions of your builder. They will know that engine better than anyone else on the net. If you think your builder doesn't know what they're talking about, you should reconsider building with them

Mobil1 is actually the manufacture recommended oil for the Evo. I've run Mobil1 for a decade through 6 different vehicles. I can't argue they reformulated it to be more eco friendly. But I still think it's better than some oils out there for a stock Evo engine.

For some reasons that particular weight is not as good, some threads I read years ago when I had the GT and first got the STi mentioned that the fuel economy mixes are mostly done using Exxon material which is not that great. Their higher weight stuff on the other hand is still mostly Mobil material (with some Exxon)
I had a massive JLT II CAI which required tuning to even get it to start (I was putting 93 octane in a 91 or 87 tune to prevent from pinging). I could actually tell when I put 5W-20 M1 in it because it would ping even on 93. Changing to something else like Castrol or Rotella T6 (awesome stuff btw) would cut the pinging completely.
So I'm not saying M1 is bad just not all the formulations of it but definitely their thin stuff is way too thin and that's a pretty common remark around different forums.
Here's a thread from back when I owned a 3000GT/Stealth.

For those of you who don't want to read through a gajillion pages of good information, it basically comes down to this: how often you change your oil is much, much more important than which oil you use.

Haven't watched much news lately but when I did they seemed to downplay the likely human loss in favor of crap like stockmarket is closed, times square is empty, broadway is silent.. Really?
When I tried it on my STi the car ran great but incinerated the whole thing within my 5000 mile interval. I was like 3 quarts down on oil when I pulled it into service after running it. I think it was my car though because it was a piece.... Excellent lubricating ability, really thick but still slick enough to work and it is made from the highest quality synthetic stock I think IV out of V levels IIRC most off the shelf Synths are III.
I'm just letting the dealer do the work for warranty or I'd probably give it a shot.
