I had the car over a year and i just realized or maybe im wrong and dont know how to acctivate it.
When i get in the car and i drive away the doors dont lock on there own like my other cars ?.
I like when im driving my other cars that the doors lock on there own and unlock after i shut of the car. Do the evos have this and i dont see it lol or not.

 

As far as I know they dont have that function. My 03 doesnt. I put a Car Alarm/Keyless entry in my 95 Eclipse, and if the doors were shut when you turned on the key the doors would lock, and they would unlock when you turned the car off. This comes from the factory on a lot of GM cars.

 

do you have navi? it might be in the instruments controls sections...theres a ton of stuff to change in there

I just wish all the windows had auto open/close. I mean this is 2012. My 2005 Scion had auto/up and down...but the Evo only the driver window and the sunroof

 

I have a 2009 X and all my windows open and close automatically. Even has the sensor thing so if you put your hand out the window while it is going up, it stops and goes back down.

It seems I have a really weird package on my car. I have the RF sound system with bass but no navi screen, leather seats + heated seats, ralliart tail lights and keyless entry but no aero kit or sunroof, I also have enkei rims not BBS . I think they have literally mixed and matched packages on my car.

 

as far as it is known, none of the X come with auto locks unless you install an alarm as stated. the only thing the settings in navi do is either unlock drivers door or all four when you unlock car.

 

That's really cool. I've never heard of any other X having those window features. I wonder if we can find a part # for your switches? It seems that would be the only part to change. I don't really need/want that sensor but it would be cool to have the auto windows on all doors instead of just the drivers side.

 

it seems that with alarms there is a circuit installed to lock and unlock when you start and stop your car. so what is the possibility of powering just that selinoid with the igniton without an alarm? im not that into car alarms so i dont know.

 

the X's don't come with the automatic locking system, you wont find it listed in the Navi system either.

I think it's because you don't have a USDM EvoX, also the packages you're mentioning *are* separate here in the US.

That's here for the US, however for the Canadian sold USDM Evo's they offered a couple different packages, same stuff just different cost and mix. Like you could get the BBS wheels and Bilstein struts on a GSR and it was a handling package.

I still think if you have auto up/down windows with motion sensors you must have a EUDM Evo. I know JDM spec Evo's have the folding side rear-view mirrors. Wish I had those too personally.

 

IRC The Navi has an option to use the button on the outside of the door to lock or unlock All doors, where by default is one push for the driver door, two pushes for all doors. Even though default on the passenger is to unlock all doors

 

Strange mine doesn't have any option relating to doors at all? but mine is a very early 2008 GSR model.

 

Your's is also EUDM, not USDM
