Sounds like BS from the description. Heating up faster means it decreases the specific heat. Cooling better means it increases the specific heat. It can't do both...

I know that when i change to redline cocktail tranny fluid it does heat up quicker. I was looking into something to cool down the engine.

Are you saying that your changing to the Redline cocktail in your transmission has caused your motor's coolant to heat up more quickly? I think that's rather unlikely, as the fluids don't interact and the transmission heats up through use, not as a result of the motor getting warm. This is to say, you could idle your car in traffic and overheat and your transmission fluid could be relatively cold. Maybe I got that wrong though, and don't understand..

A thermostat won't really cool your motor down either, as it simply opens at a lower temperature. So, while there might be an immediate benefit from opening at a lower temp, it's short lived as the thermostat is out of play once the car is warmed up.

A bigger radiator can, of course, keep coolant temps lower. I didn't
T think the Evo needed too much help in this area though and I'm curious to learn other's results. We've found that, even under racing conditions the Evo X coolant stays pretty cool. Even before our oil management solutions, when we saw oil temps at 285+ the water was just right.

Weird, I wonder if this is something like Water Wetter, which does work wonderfully, while wildly well priced.
