I've been reading from a couple of posts on here that the tomei expreme isn't a true 3 inch exhaust and that it tapers to 2 3/4 inch.

How much of a performance downgrade would this be compared to a tomei expreme that was 3 inches (i know it doesn't exist).

Overall, is it not that big of a deal?

 

Mine doesnt taper to a 2 3/4...its 3" the whole way. None the less you wont notice a power difference with a 1/4 taper.

 

I'm no mechanic but I don't think it matters much that far back in the exhaust anyway. Especially a 1/4 inch difference.
