lololol best way to save gas in an evo is dont drive it or buy a prius. A good dialed in tune should yield you a couple mpgs depending on your mods.

Just stay out of boost and don't do wot pulls! It is a evo ya know, turbo cars are not gas savers.

No sense in getting it tuned to 3lbs, not to mention the fact that itll probably creep to way past that anyway. You can have your car tuned to run a little leaner in the cruise portion of your map and advance the timing but be careful.

The best advice is to stay out of boost. If you only wanna run 3lbs then be careful with your right foot.

Even if you stay out of boost and never WOT it's not like the gas magically becomes better.

Right foots kinda heavy, it hits the floor and wants to keep going
Can't that lead towards blown plugs and motor?

You bought an all wheel drive turbo charged car. You mpg isnt going to be good. Shift before 3000 and try to stay at 60. I noticed even doing 80 my mpg doesn't go down to much. 60 just feels to slow to me. If you have a turbo car that good on gas get a gti or a speed3. All wheel drive kills mpg

Just drive conservatively. Even then gas mileage will never be good. The only time the EVO gets good gas mileage is when it's off. Lol.
