I would just call an Evo shop to do it.. The dealer even screwed up another members car on here..

Even if it comes out to a little more, I would rather know its done right..

What terrible timing. But at least now you will become more familiar with your car and have the pride in knowing you did it yourself.

Don't know yet, I have a lot of research to do since I don't know much about the different types of clutches.

haha good luck and post pics if you can!

As far as a clutch seems like people like competition clutch for an Evo.

I recently had the Exedy stage 1 hd clutch installed. I like it, but I'm not sure if it's enough for your needs. But, whatever you do, upgrade the Clutch Master cylinder too. It's a must.

Man I wish I had access to a lift sometimes. Crawling around on the floor all the time gets old. Good luck with the install.

Good luck.

Best advice is get the work done at a reputable shop, preferably the dealer with a warranty. Don't save money now only to get the job re-done in the future.

Thank you for serving
And good luck with the clutch, I just had mine done after 45k and 330whp. I went with a competition stage 2. So far so good.
