Last I knew they only included a new sock not a inline filter.

I have never used one of those and personally I think there useless. I mean I run e85 summer and e70 in the winter with the same tune 0 changes without any issues even rippin on the car all year round. I mean there is a little change in the gas and you can tell it by the way the car acts. As long as the cars tuned right and there is no knock you should be fine.

Assuming you're on stock turbo since you didn't specify.

Just do the DW65 pump, it is drop-in and keeps your stock fuel filter.

Then either DW850cc injectors or FIC1100's, your pick, depending on budget.

FYI: the fuel filter is bult into the bucket, so if you gut it, put an inline one in there. You can make one for about $25 bucks and keep your factory lines, etc.

Don't like doing this but I want to save you some money. You can get the ID1000s from us (Under retail) plus a free walbro 255 or $50 off a DW65/300 .

Shoot me over a PM if your interested. We have had this sale going on for a while with great success!

I would trust the ID1000 injectors more than the DW's. With that said.. either a dw65c or a wally 255 will give you more than enough fuel for a stock turbo on E85. You do not need to rewire it. If you rewire the pump it will need fo you to use a FPR to regulate the pressure. Also I would get an Inline filter under the hood. The OEM sock is known to screw up.

If you go with the Wally 255 suggestion use the OEM sock from a Evo 9 and you will be good.

Since you are stock turbo then I would go FIC 1100cc and a walbro 255.

On my 9, FIC 1050s and a 255 worked perfect for my stock turbo setup and i was just shy of 400 whp.

Alright to help everyone here, I am stock turbo currently. I plan to go bigger turbo eventually, within 12 months hopefully, so rather than having to get a bigger pump and injectors i figured i would just do it all now. The only thing im a little confused on is the fuel filter issue...

The only true drop in pump is the the dw65. With that you don't need a install kit. If you get a different pump with an install kit you have to eliminate the factory fuel pump housing which contains the fuel filter. So if you go with a pump other then the dw65 you just have to put in a inline fuel filter.

What is there to be confused about? You put a inline filter in to collect all the **** that is gonna come out of your tank once the e85 starts to loosen it all up from running pump gas for so long. Its a safety measure.

Any of the Walbros are drop ins. Unless your doing a 300 there isn't anything you need to install them other then a sock. Unless your talking about a kit that comes with everything. If so then maybe. But in my experiences I'd take a modded Walbro over a ****ty dw pump anyday of the week.

I'm gonna be running the DW65C pump and was wondering where can I buy an E85 safe sock?
