Thinking of sell the EVO
Hi all
I am thinking of selling my 2011 EVO X I got brand new in FEB 2011 which makes me sad I just got it tuned and love the car. But I will be going to Korea in few months and found out the insur will be around $360 - $425 a month on top of a $700 car payment for the car it just seems to be too much. Right now I pay $188 for insur in Texas so almost a G per month for the EVO X all together.
So these are the cars I am looking at in a japanese auto auction company that will ship to CAN. If I can get a good deal on one the EVO X is up for sale.
1997 EVO 6 GSR $8,800 pic 1
1995 FD RX7 Type R $9,900 pic 2
1996 Skyline GTR V-spec $13,900 pic 3
To insur one of these cars in Korea will be cheaper then my X plus my payments will be cheaper too.
I will keep you guy's posted.

O the auction house has it listed just as a evolution gsr since it a 97 I figured it might be a 6.
I showed my wife the choices and she want me to get the skyline and the evo 4 for her since it would be about 20,000 if I got both so I might just do that.
No I pay about a G right now every month for the evo x if I took it to Korea I would be paying 1200 a month on it.
Our I could leave it here in storage for 2 years while paying $970 a month on it. Lol would be wild 2015 with a 2011 car with only 16000 miles on it.lol

Those cars are horribly overpriced, and they aren't even in Korea.
I highly doubt these are even legal in Korea, you are going to have so much hassle.
Furthermore, do you seriously want to spend 20K on 2 mid 90s cars that you will own for 2 yrs?
There are a lot of driving restrictions with SOFA status anyways.

Korea huh? Funny that... my brother in-law who is a Colonel just got a mandatory drill this weekend, the day after Kim-Jong-retard announced the threats on the US.
P.S Don't get an RX7 unless you are a mechanic... those rotary engines take a lot of maintenance once modded. I always wanted one but you will need a full engine rebuild every 20-30k. I'd go for the R33 GTR
