do you have a blinking red led to indicate an alarm? sometimes, it is a switch for that.

I see that it's attached using screws. Pull out a screw driver, take it off, turn it over where the patents etc... are listed on the back, look for a company name next to it, write it down, go to Google.com and do a search for that company name if you don't recognize the name.

That is a fantastic idea. I'll do this tonight.

Pressed the button a few times with the car on and off. Didn't do a damn thing.

Thats an AMS downpipe in there. The previous owner probably had a straight pipe and the dealership welded in the cat in order to make the sale.

Did you get it in writing that the car is still under warranty? Cause with those mods I can almost guarantee you its been tuned. If so bye bye warranty.

No i didn't get it in writing.... i may still be able to though. I had a very courteous salesman.

other than man what a terrible job on those welds.. looks like they took a nice ets system and just hacked it to pass it as legal.

It's been a few days, so I should have expected something like the above.

sigh

Mods do not make warranties for "bye bye." Mods allow dealers and makers to deny fixing a problem (for free) that could reasonably be blamed on unauthorized changes to the car.
