So I went ahead and sold my 2005 EVO 8 RS 2 months or so ago… It was a awesome car and I hope to get another 8 or 9 in the future but my RS just had a lot of imperfections that were bothering me and it rode like crap and it was getting close to 100k miles… But that evo is gonna live a much better life as the guy that bought it is building it to a 650AWHP daily
So I picked up another EVO ... 2008 EVO X GSR with 57k miles.. It was located in st Louis so I flew there and picked it up and drove 10 hours back LOL loved every minute of it! Coming from a car that had a crappy radio and speakers and no cruise to the evo X with the Sight sound spoiler package and the AERO package & cruise for the 10 hour trip lol
When I picked the evo up it had a crappy Autozone exhaust on it so I changed that for a nice dual exhaust and catless test pipe.. Best sounding car I’ve owned so far

Congrats on the purchase. I Had an EVO X and decided to add a EVO 8 to the fleet and I still like my Evo X better, I think I'm a sucker for creature comforts and cruise control.

 

i miss my 8 everyday but i do like this one alot lol it rides much better and its still pretty quick i cant wait to get it looking and performing how i want it too

 

Ive contemplated doing what you did. I think Id be happy with an SSL trim.

Wow. I had almost the EXACT same car. Except mine was rocking the MR wheels PC'd black. Even had the Rexpeed Trunk lip . Making me miss mine now
