Question Looking to get an Evo X between 10 - 14 gsr

Looking to get and Evo x . Was wonder whats a good exhaust to get. I'm want it deep but not obnoxiously loud . Just crushing I want a nice subtle sound . WOP loud. No drone tho. What's a good down pipe up and all that. What would be a ideal gauges for some new. I know wide band and boost gauge . Is oil temp important . But which oil temp tranny or engine oil. Also what's a good air intake. I wanna do as much stuff as possible with out voiding my warranty . Then after warranty is gone I wanna make at least 480 to 500 horse power .

Well I have been looking and I know or a fact I wanna do full exhaust and headers . I just can't find a decent one I was thinking in invidia just haven't seen to much feed back, or maybe a borla exhaust. I'm new to the jdm world. So all help is appreciated . I know I wanna do wide band and afr also boost . Was contemplatin the oil temp I don't see a reason to have it unless I start making over 400hp. After my warranty is up I'm convert it to e85 . Do big front mount inter cooler .

I'm over 400, 425 to be exact, and I haven't bothered with any gauges.

For catback exhaust, check out Cobb, Magnaflow, Buschur Crossflow, and ETS V2 Quiet. They all have a nice deep tone without the drone or excessive volume.

Originally I did not want to go with the ETS V2 quiet because so many people had it. Well I ended up getting it and imo it is a near perfect exhaust. Sounds great, loud enough to know your car packs a punch, but not loud enough to **** off people, and fitment was perfect.

Check out the Turbo XS exhaust. Maybe listen to it on youtube however you can't always go by the sound in videos. But the Turbo XS turboback system is about $850 shipped.

If cheap is the name of the game, you can't beat the Magnaflow at $600 with the full 3" conversion.

Is the Magnaflow for $600 a catback or turboback?

Have you done anything to the internals of the motor and transmission?

I don't mind paying 100 to 2000 for a FULL exhaust down pipe up pipe and what ever else.

Here are some videos, OP, of the exhausts that Kracka mentioned:

Cobb:

This has a well-pronounced rally car note.

Magnaflow:

This adds some raspy elements of BMW or Ferrari to your Evo.

Buschur:

ETS V2 Quiet:

These two are gentle and mild. However, they are somehow too tamed that the aggressive elements of the Evo are missing.

So it all comes down to what fits you the best, OP.
