Evo X Exhaust Upgrade!

Hey guys!! I got a 2013 Evo X MR about 2 weeks ago. And i am allready craving a exhaust upgrade!!

I am looking into the Speed Circuit Wicked or Smooth Edition Exhaust but it is around $1000.

I was wondering which exhaust i can buy that sounds similar and costs less. Or if there are better ones for a cheaper price?

I am also looking into getting the AMS Widemouth Downpipe!

Please let me know what you guys think and if you have any recommendations please do give them! Thanks!

And also, what's a good intake i can buy that does not require a tune!?

To be honest, I would say no one. Every mod you do to your engine requires a retune. And intake doesn't give hp gain at all, it does give you a nice sound tho, buy a tbe and a retune instead if your looking for gains.

My Perrin exhaust if your just looking for performance upgrade, I think it's sounds okey for the bangs I gave for it .. damn that Speed Circuit Wicked edition sounds way better tho :P

Can I be blunt? Yes? Thanks.

You are too parsimonious for your own good and, if you don't change your attitude and/or budget for modding this car, you will end up doing everything two or three times, spending even more than you would have if you'd faced that this is an expensive car and done it correctly the first time.

But it is, of course, not only your car but your money. I'm just practicing this speech for when my children are older.

Not completely true. With an MR I would say that you should get an AEM Cold Air Intake. You'll see minimal gains, about 16hp 17tq. They dont require a tune but it's better if you do. Now you dont want to waste money on a tune after an intake so get your exhaust and intake installed then get a tune.

As far as bang for your buck the CNT 3" Racing addition sounds sexy if you like the speed circuit wicked edition you'll like it heres a video:

It costs about 500$ so half the price of the Speed Circuit.

AMS widemouth for sure. Lots of good exhaust systems for these cars. It's really just a sound preference. Just don't go cheap, get a good quality piece.

Ultimate Racing is really good also. They are priced very reasonable!. You can put an ETS intake that doesn't need a tune. But to get the most power out of the mods you need a tune!

Been considering the CNT 3"
How would it be with the invidia downpipe/testpipe single piece?
Or would it be more worth the money to get the invidia q300 with the down/testpipe?

Wow, $400 shipped?
Who sells them for that price?
I want to check with them if they still have it in stock.
