From IX to X
From IX to X
Hey everyone I have not been around on the forums for a little over a year and a half but I finally got back into an Evo! I owned two Evo IX's a few years ago, sold them and ended up moving from the Des Moines Iowa area out to Phoenix Arizona. I had been searching for an Evo X GSR for a few months and finally found the perfect one which, believe it or not, was at a dealership and not private party. A guy traded a WW 2013 Evo X GSR into Chapman Volkswagen a few days ago with 1400 miles on the odometer. I found it yesterday as I was taking my girlfriends VW to get serviced. Now I own it! super excited to find such a low mileage X in the valley!
Plans will probably start with hard pipes and a single exit exhaust in the next few weeks!

to answer a few of the questions I ended up paying 29 and change for the car before tax which was not bad in my opinion for a dealership. I feel like the power band in the X is a lot more linear and less "all or nothing" compared to a stock IX, if that makes sense? Yes this was def at QT haha and I am VERY happy to be back! Thanks for all the kind words!
I too will finally be making this switch this week! I sold my built IX in the fall last year, and now I'm looking to get into another evo, but I will be buying new this time. Good find and good price! Best of luck with it man! Enjoy!
Thank you very much! Those were my thoughts exactly and you are correct about pavs, Evo's are not well represented, LOADS of subies though and they were all very nice about it haha

and damn I see QT pimpin lmao.
