can somebody identify this dash icon?

I've searched around and asked a handful of other evo owners and for the life of me, I can not figure out what this icon means? It's the icon on the right side of the display above the fuel bar.. Looks like a box with an arrow pointing onto it.

It's the symbol showing that if you hold down the "INFO" button to the left of your gauges, it will clear the warning from your screen (in this case, driver's door is open).

That isn't the low tire pressure light. But

what I want to know is why we have a spot for a light that is shaped like a trailer.
I mean i know that it would signify towing mode...

but did mitsu ever plan for anyone to tow with these cars?

Actually, Outlanders don't have a "tow mode" per say. They have a low gear that's intended for use in extreme weather or towing, but there is no button that you push to activate like some kind of cooling system.

TBH, I'm not really sure why that light is there.

1) mitsu's don't have brake pads with sensors. Just your typical squealer tabs.
2) He's talking about the icon on the right, just above the gas gauge.

Thanks for posting this OP. I've had the same question for awhile and hadn't gotten around to making a post.

This is a very bad post.

It was already pointed out that our cars have no way of detecting pad status. And the dash and electronics of a Jetta have just about nothing in common with those on an Evo.
