Nows the time... I've wanted an evo since I was a wee child, now I can finally afford one at 25. I was an sti fan for awhile but then my friend let me drive his evo and it pretty much sold me. 2011 evo x gsr 23000 miles.

Any tips on next step performance mod? Currently its running a MXP DP test pipe, exhaust a Stage 2 Competition clutch and an intake )not sure if its cai or what) How can I fix this rattlirattling is it really the test pipe? Posting pics soon

Get a testpipe with a bend in it, straight testpipes are known to rattle.

Is the car tuned yet?

 

Car is tuned, I plan on buying it off Brandon in the next couple days. I don't think hes of forums here but he swings by meets in the OC area

Looks good. I would fix test pipe then ride her the way she is for awhile and see what you would likes ie speed, handling or whatever. Just my 2cents

so thats why my exhaust rattles.....never knew straight ones are known to rattle. Ive been chasing down this rattle for months!

 

I guess, I wonder if the bend reduces vibrations or something, or if its just bent away from some part that was in the way?

Straight testpipes rattle on one of the driveshaft mounts, curved ones bend away from this just like the factory cat pipe does.
