Your engine has one head, and you don't really need to upgrade your BOV until you're running elevated boost levels on an aftermarket turbo

Search around a bit, the basics of Evo X modding have been covered quite extensively, and a few companies even offer pre-packaged staged kits.

I would do Full Turbo back exhaust, Intake, Boost Controller, UICP with a FMIC and you should be around 350 360 whp w/ a tune!

yeah 350-360 on e85. not on 91/93.

As for your mods, you deff want, exhaust, hfc or tp, uicp, intake, fmic, if you're going with e85 than injectors & fuel pump, and of course a good tuner.

<-------352WHP on 93 without a single problem. On E85 with FULL boltons you ought to make 375ish on a dynojet

Keep your TQ around 350 and you are good to go.

I was going to dismiss getting an intercooler for now. However, after extensive meandering research I've made the conclusion that it is worth it. Reviewing dyno sheets from members shows consistent increased results and stable cooler air temperatures. I believe that helps reduce knocking. Especially if only using 91.

A Intake and a Manual Boost Controller are the two best first mods for the Evo X. AMS and ETS both roughly claim an additional 50whp with their Intakes + a MBC with a tune to dial it in. Both AMS and ETS also have package deals for the Evo X that will get you in the ball park of 400whp with proper tuning.

I have a test pipe, cat back, intake, upper intercooler pipe, 3 port, fuel pump, and injectors. I make 355 on 91 and 380 on E85, both on a Mustang dyno. A tune on a bone stock car can easily net something like 50hp.

Start basic. Drop in air filter and a TBE should make you happy for a while. My brothers X has a Cosworth drop in and a catback road tuned @ RRE making 303awhp/315awtq. Pulls hard.

I would not recommend getting a FMIC, unless you are upgrading your turbo. The FMIC would cause you to have a bit more turbo lag.

I have looked around and found AMS, Cobb and ETS that have packages.....could you shed some light on more? Not full blown turbo upgrades but bolt on packages?
