Way too much mods and money for the power you want. Like everyone has said, go to a respectable and well known tuner of Evo's. turbo back exhaust like tuboxs ( not as loud as some) the pill for high boost, change boost actuator for high boost tune, bigger injectors, tune and e85 fuel will easily get you 350. Pretty much stock but with all the power unlocked. Stock turbo can safely boost to 30psi peak, intercooler is sufficient, you can add a k&n panel filter ( car has been designed with cold air induction through the nose of the car for the panel filter) boost controller is sufficient and can hold 25psi till about 6000rpm. Use the extra money to buy yourself some wheels

:/ I wouldn't boost to 30psi on 93 unless you like surprises, the not fun kind. I believe the turbo can handle it, all day. that's a turbo's job. but the engine... not quite so much.

In Australia we run 98octane, furthermore, depends on how lean you want to push the mix on WOT that will give you the surprises you are speaking of.

No you run 98 RON which is basically 93 octane.

Sorry razorlab, i explained myself wrong. I am aware that they are the same, just wrote a pointless comment that i am from AUS and we define it as 98 not 93. I was more interested in the point that 30 is too high to peak boost for that fuel. My oppinion is that if you are running a safe AFR ie, peek bost afr at around 11.5 and running it down to 11.2 at 6000 with 0-2 counts of knock, then there is little to be worried about. All really depends on how you drive the car every day anyway. My Evo is an everyday car first, so i drive it to get 10 litres/100kms on most days (very soft on the pedal) but if you are going to mash the pedal down any chance you get, stock or tuned, it probably doesnt matter, you're punishing the car anyway.

if you owned Ferrari's and Lambo's why are you concerned with the pricetag. For 25k you can have an 800whp Evo with supporting mods to engine, suspension, and clutch. There is a middle ground though. I paid about 6k to get full boltons installed and tuned, and set me up for future plans. To get over 400wHP safely, you're looking at replacing the stock block, getting a larger/better turbo, and getting clutch packs. 5-7k to get to a safe 350 then you might as well shoot for 500+ because 400-500 isn't worth the spike in money.

<= 32 PSI with upgraded 20G compressor. Nothing but headstuds and no nasty surprises.

$1k AGP pipe kit with intercooler, $1.4k ETS TBE and tune and you should be at more than 350. I think that I made 374/375 on a Mustang dyno with those mods (and only those mods).

350

So because i have owned some exotics is a good reason to get ripped off or throw money away? I suspect that was there thought also..I don't want 500hp. As i said this is going to be a weekend fun car, maybe a little track time ect.. It looks to me that the suspension can handle 350hp without doing much if anything to it and that was another reason for the 350hp number.

3.5” Evo X Intercooler (We can anodize black to give it that “under the radar” look)
Upper intercooler pipe (I recommend wrinkle black coating for the stealth look)
Lower intercooler pipe (More for aesthetics than performance. Basically completes the kit. )
ETS Intake (again wrinkle black if you want to keep it stealth/OEM looking)
Recirculated Downpipe
ETS Test pipe (we can build them with a high flow catalytic converter or a resonator if you’d like.)
ETS Quiet cat-back exhaust
GrimmSpeed EBC or a Manual Boost Controller
Some Sort of tuning software which we recommend getting a COBB Access Port but FFTEC can advise what they look to tune with.

350 imo is the sweetspot. These mods will get you there. When you said $3100 I assume that was the cost of buying the parts. Every shop charges differently for labor and a good tune is at least $500 for the first one.

As others have stated, 350hp can be achieved relatively easily, but it is honestly completely dependant on the dyno. With my mods, which are pretty much the same as some other people claiming 350whp, I made just shy of 300 on the CBRD dyno. I could go to another shop with a dynojet and sure, i would be quite a bit higher...but I would still know in my heart that I only made 298 on Chad's dyno

For me, I know I need at least a downpipe, front mount, and upgraded turbo to break 350 on the dyno I use. But, that isn't the case for everyone, obviously.

Good luck with the mods, can't wait to see how it turns out!

Having been a tuner in the Bay Area in my previous life, knowing what the Mustang Dyno I used read, and what the Mustang Dyno at the shop you are looking at reads, and what is capable of on our 91 octane, here are good and proven recipes for four stages, one of them being close to your 350whp goal on 91 and the other on E85.

91 oct 280-290 whp:
Boost pill upgrade or 3 port boost solenoid
Drop in panel intake filter
Custom dyno tune

91 oct 300-310whp:
Boost pill upgrade or 3 port boost solenoid
Drop in panel intake filter
Test pipe or 100 cell HFC
Catback
Custom dyno tune

91 oct 330-350whp:
Boost pill upgrade or 3 port boost solenoid
AEM intake (or equivalent )
Test pipe or 100 cell HFC
Downpipe
Catback
CBRD BBX turbo upgrade (or FPgreen, or MHI, or EF1)
ID1000cc injectors
FMIC
Custom dyno tune

E85 330-360whp:
Boost pill upgrade or 3 port boost solenoid
Test pipe or 100 cell HFC
Catback
ID1000cc injectors
Fuel Pump upgrade
Custom dyno tune

I've tuned a good amount of all those setups, multiple times. You can sift through this directory to take a look at a bunch of them if you wish. http://www.norcalmotorsports.org/use...EVO/evo_tunes/

Good luck!
