2014 Evo Fuel pump relay?

Does anyone know if Mitsubishi fixed the fuel pump relay problem and if the 2014 got the updated black one?

Mine's didn't come with the updated one either, just get the fuel pump relay. The other relays aren't as critical.

I was going to buy the updated relay package from MAPerformance, but they told me I didn't need it since they rolled out the updated relays in 2010.

Is this green relay much better than the blue one (I just bought it yesterday from dealer).

Also if it matters I live in north florida so we get 30 degree weather like 10-15 days out of the year.

My car is a stock '13 GSR except for a K&N drop in filter.

thanks

I thought this problem was resolved a couple years ago, but now I'm starting to worry about my 2014. I will have to pop the hood and check out which relay I have in there.

My tuner replaced my 14 black relays with blue ones. I'll see what black ones I have

I didn't realize this is still an issue with the 2014s.
Will be checking my relays tomorrow and post an update once I find out.

you guys realize that whether you change out your fuel relays to the latest model, it will not fix the issue. the issue is with the relay design itself. go ahead and buy that package from ssp, it'll go bad within the next couple of months.

Any empirical data on this. A lot of folks have changed these and have been doing ok so far. I just picked up blue relay today. Was like 14$. But that seems very little to spend for peace of mind.

are you talking about the design of the electrical system, or the design of the physical relay?

kinda got me worried now, but if it does blow because of the relay it should be under warranty. my car only has 900 miles on it so far.
