ASC/ABS Service lights on
ASC/ABS Service lights on
I have about 50k miles on a 2012 GSR. This morning when I started the car the warning lights came on. It was fine when I parked it last night. They came on today before the car even moved, just sitting here warming up.
Any ideas?
I installed a Beatrush rear bulkhead panel this morning. Checked to make sure I didn't hit any wiring. Not even sure if there is wiring for that in that area. The pump itself is full.
Thanks

Please note that, if you checked the ACD/AYC fluid before writing "the pump is full," that's probably irrelevant. To lose the ASC and ABS at the same time usually means a wheel-speed sensor or the ABS unit. You won't get those two warnings from a ACD/AYC pump issue.
I was saying that the ACD/AYC pump reservoir is irrelevant, because ACD/AYC pump issues don't cause ABS issues. If you meant something else by "the pump is full," ignore this and say which pump was full.
But, again, odds are you lost a wheel-speed sensor.

Ok, I was just trying to give as much info as possible. Where would I find the pump and Ecu for this? Where are the wheel speed sensors located?
The resivour in the trunk is full.
Thanks

No codes on my OBD. Guessing I need to have a dealer specific reader.
The reason I want to look at the sensor is the right front fender liner being ripped out at high speed may have hit it. And on the left I had an issue with a guard rail in the canyons last month.
Can't hurt to visually inspect them.

Ah, yes. If the wire is cut, that would be obvious. And, yes, you need a code-reader that's a bit better than a Pep-Boys typical. MUT or EvoScan or, I believe, AccessPort will all work.
Cool. Taking it to a shop Friday. Was planning I having fluids changed anyways. Hopefully they can fix it track day in a few weeks. Would be old school if I have to go before it's fixed.
