Does anyone know if the MR Trunk without the wing and the GSR with the wing have the same damper shocks?

 

I don't think so but not 100% sure. I drive a Base GSR and installed the SSS spoiler and my dampers can't properly stop the trunk when closing it after installing the big spoiler.

 

The GSR trunk dampers are worth 10 more whp over the MR. So I think that's the only difference...

 

But the MR dampers offer a significant weight reduction.

So there is that to consider.

 

its not about an MR or GSR, its about if the car came equipped with the high wing or low wing/no wing.

to answer your question, No, they are not the same. the no wing trunk damper is the same as a trunk with a low wing. trunks came equipped with the high wing will come with a different set of dampers for obvious reason, the added weight of the high wing.

 

I added high wing but with the same damper...
