As anyone seen this indicator? What does it stand for?

 

It's the Intercooler spray Icon. Nomally not installed on NA models. or at least that is what IMO I think it is.

 

That's what I thought. But this sucker is not flashing randomly. I'm stumped.

 

What in the world is intercooler spray?

 

Some vehicles use to have a sprayer like how your windshield wash system works. The idea is that you can cool the the air even further that passes through the intercooler to up efficiency. That practice is rare because if your doing a track day some officials claim it's the same as dropping fluid in the track.

 

Dude I have the same thing except its in the center display - I have an 08. It flashes every 3 sec or so. It started happening after I had it tuned on e85..

 

Some tuners will use that icon to let you know you are on the E85 map. If you switch over to the 93 map, the icon will be off.

Hey I tried it. Looks like I'm on an economy map. Boost won't go past 12.5psi. Interesting though.
