I am having an unusual problem with my 2012 evo x. When the car is at idle and i give it gas, the rpm would drop before it will pick up again. It would hesitate for a split second and then rev up.

For example: My idle is at 850, i will give it about 30% throttle, the rpm drops to 600 and revs up to 3000.

Any help will be appreciated.

tune or vacuum leak, probably not a vacuum leak tho.

It is a custom tune by a local tuner.

 

If you have the tune file upload it and someone will be able to look it over and try and help. Is it thru an access port.

 

Yes it is through an access port, but the tune file is locked by my tuner. I am bringing her in on Monday morning to have it checked out.
