Question on Evo X
Hey everyone,
My name is Phil, I have been scrolling around this site for a year or two now, and just recently made a profile because I am finally was able to sell my Camaro, and I am now finally in the market to buy an Evo.
I'm specifically looking at getting an Evo X.
My question to you all is, what should I be looking out for, and what all should I know of before going to look at evo's.
ex. common problems, packages, questions to ask, etc.
I really appreciate it!
p.s. if you know anyone with an 08-10 evo who wants straight cash you can start sending them this way! {thumb up}
Thanks everyone,
-Phil

Definitely want to look for signs of abuse as with any vehicle you buy. Check engine lights, weird rattling noises, does it look like something was broken and welded back together. stuff like that i would say
It all depends on what you want, bro. As far as I'm concerned, the extra packages on the Gsr only weight down the car more - but if that's your thing then definitely go for that.
You like manual (Gsr) or automatic/paddle shift (MR)?
Handling Package for the Gsr means BBS rims and eibach springs + more...
Then you have premium packages which = Nav, sunroof, and all those fancy doo-dads
One thing for sure is to know this: you will have to replace the ACD AYC pump every so often [if you are in a cold/humid environment] as Mitsubishi has not fixed the issue since they came out in 08'.
Your in for one hell of a ride though... all the best!
