Tpms

I'm sure that i'll end up getting a tongue lashing for not using the "search" (95% of the time wild goose chase) feature.

I have a broken TPMS sensor thus, need a new one. Does anyone know what sensors WILL work and where I can find them?

I'm sure NGS can help you. Don't throw out the broken one, he'll probably need the code from it.

What broke?
If it is the stem - there is a replacement kit (and any tire shop can fix without having to go to the dealership to have a brand new one synched... )

I work at Discount Tire. A buddy of mine broke his sensor on his lancer when installing new wheels #fail. and at the time we didnt have any compatible ones. He ended up having to buy one from the dealership for the same price as one of his rims :/

I've heard mixed things about discount tire. Some work, some don't. Might be worth checking it out.

Where in ny are you? If you don't have your old sensor then cloning might be tough. The programmed id numbers can be retrieved from your car with a scantool. Worse case scenario is just have the dealer reprogram for $30.

I'm located in Palmyra. about half way between Rochester and Syracuse. I'm starting to think maybe just going to a dealer for a new TPMS and to have it programmed might be my best bet. Not having a TPMS isn't bad, it's just the annoying light on the dash that is annoying.

Only option for you now is to buy a new/used tpms sensor and have it programmed to the car.
