Nope. I was told that I had to send it back to them at my cost and they would ship one back to me after they looked at it. I told them that was unacceptable because I needed to have a shifter in the car and my OEM unit was at my home in another state (I'm currently traveling with the car working at a project in another state). I offered to let them put a new one on my credit card to cross ship but told them I could also try to run a die over it. They told me what size die to use lol (I shouldn't have suggested it). They also said that my missing bushing would be shipped out as soon as the next batch came in... That was in Jan of this year. Nothing since! I emailed them on the 24th of Aug when I saw one of their adds on the vette forum and remembered that they still owed me that bushing. No replies since... I did email them again today because of this thread. I don't expect anything.

I'm not trying to say anything negative about the design of the product. The piece is a great idea and the shifter is a vast improvement. I just wouldn't recommend them if there is another option... But none exists for the cage to my knowledge. This isn't the level of customer service I would expect after purchasing 600 dollars worth of parts from a company (I ordered everything from them including a knob via their eBay store).

Same issue as the op in that thread... But that was 2011. I guess they still don't do any QC! Keep in mind that the shifter itself is a 200 dollar part with a single thread ...

Nope - I'll give them a try when I get a chance. I've gone through several rounds of e-mails with them (and they have responded in the past). I had pretty much written it off originally (my fault - I should have kept on them).

Does anyone have any pictures they can post of redline shift boots, e-brake covers, arm rest covers?
I am looking between the black and charcoal alcantara. Any other pictures would be appreciated.

Not sure how this quality is gonna come out, and the lighting was kinda bad when I finished, but here was a couple pics I snapped while installing the twm short shifter and cage. Oh ya, and I put a redline shift boot on as well. Also waiting on my blox shift knob, seeing as though I had problems with the blackline vendor. Overall extremely happy with the performance of the sts and cage, even with the stock knob. Really looking forward to the blox knob and some added weight for the throws.

Thank You. Ya it definitely does look much better then the stock boot, which looks very cheap and fake. I also got the arm rest cover to match and e-brake as well. Ill post some pics of that once I get it done. Might try and do the arm rest later today.

Did you order it from redlinegoods.com and did you get stock height on the boot or shorter?

Yes I ordered from redline, and know I got the shorter boot because I installed the twm sts and cage. So I think the boot was 1.25 shorter in the options.

I greatly apologize, on behalf of all of us here, for the miscommunication that we've been having. I have taken matters into my own hands and will make sure that you receive your transmission arm bushings ASAP. We are absolutely committed to quality and want to make this right for you. We will have this part out to you tomorrow. An email will be dispatched to you to as soon as the package is on its way.

Regards,

Renato
