usually people that raise them use it for rally, like rob up there. I dont think you would scare on speed bumps with stock ride hight, im lowered on springs and i dont scrape over speed bumps even if im going straight over them.

+1

I'm stock height, don't scrape... just go slow! Accelerate slightly as the front goes over and brake slightly as the rear goes over. This shifts the weight around and helps reduce the impact of the speed bump. We only have them in parking lots here, though, so I usually just drive around them

^^What he said. I'm lowered, but not slammed. No problems with scraping at all.

...and approach speed bumps and steep pitch driveways at a 45deg angle (not straight-on)

Search for 'gravel-spec struts'

Agreed, my mom lives in a community with speed bumps literally every 15 feet, my cars fine and I have a lip on it too, stock ride height should be good, just take your time on them.😃

My car is stock height and the previous owner put the wrong size tires on it (245/45-18 instead of 245/40) and it clears speed bumps with ease. I could hit a speed bump at 10-15 mph if I wanted to. This thing has more ground clearance than most SUV's.
