spring rates

I found the spring rate charts for the '08 Evo X and assume they stay the same for the '14??

Looking to soften my daily driver -- I know all you kiddos will laugh but the swap and pitch on rough streets is not worth the few aggressive times I use the stock stiff suspension. I race sportbikes and do track days so my ego is not hurt by softening up the stock springs, or compression damping of the struts.

Entering turn one @ Thunderhill on two wheels @ 170 has its own thrill, believe me.

Any vendor suggestions?

Can the stock Bilsteins be revalved?

Thanks for any suggestions.............

have Vishnu flash and freeflow down pipe --car runs fine but my Audi S4's were as peppy without the aggravation of beating my *** off @ 30 mph in town, help.........

As another track rider I understand that joy. I also still enjoy doing the same thing in my evo but the feeling is uniquely different.

As for the springs, i do not know of any companies that make softer then stock spring rates. Your best bet may to buy coilovers and get a custom ordered spring rate. Fortune Auto doesn't charge extra for your spring rate. So you can choose a lower rate and they will valve the shocks for that spring rate.

Since what most people mean by "ride quality" depends much more on the shocks than the springs, the idea of putting Billies on the shelf in favor of stuff from Fortune Auto makes me giggle.

Yes, the OE Billies can be revalved for an even nicer ride. That would be the way to go.
