bogus move made by the dealer

I went into the dealer for excessive rattling for the trim piece Behind the shifter and in front of the awc button. After they replaced it, I noticed my aluminum/leather shift knob was scratched. I informed the service advisor and he told me"I can't do anything about It. We Dont have the money to replace it...it's an expensive part" I told him to warranty it, he replied " I can't warranty a scratch" this b**** tech scratched my handbrake on my car that doesn't even have 3000 miles on it and they don't even do anything about it ! Has anyone ever had an experience like this mitsubishi? And not to mention, they put the wrong clips in and it still rattles!

I played a b**** and gave him some words, he then told me I can give you a free synthetic oil change to make up for it ... helps a lot

Any advice would be appreciated

Fix your rattles yourself so you know it is done right and some monkey that hates you for what you own won't intentionally destroy your **** through carelessness or just general malice.

im sure it was an accident i doubt the tech caused the damage on purpose. I would goto the service advisors manager or just call mitsubishi corp. There financial issues should not be any of your concern when they damage your vehicle.

On the other hand im not always that level headed so if they tried to tell me that i would unscrew it walk into the show room and take one off of a brand new car and tell them to have a good day.

I hope they have some excellent proof in the form of surveillance footage.

The moral of the story is, don't let dealers take advantage of you and always make them pay for their mistakes.

Update

I called the dealership and told the customer care manager and he didn't seem to care. So I called corporate and they're supposed to get back to me. Corporate told me the dealerships are independently owned, and for that reason, sometimes they say no to several things, and try to avoid the problems by not saying anything.

Teaches me a lesson to not trust any dealership ever!!!

The service advisors' are unreliable, their names are NICK and DAVID at Glenview Mitusbishi
