wasup guys got a quick question here if I was gonna put a Cobb exhaust and a ets Cai on my 2015 gsr would I need a tune ? I just bought min and I can't afford a tune at the present moment (FYI I already had these parts from my 08 Mr ) . Any insight is greatly appreciated.

You could run without a tune but why would you in a brand new car? If you're going to get the cobb exhaust then got the access port with it and run the OTS map that already comes with it. If you're getting the ETS CAI at the same time just get a tune as soon as you can. Your car would be a lot happier, more power and slightly better gas mileage.

exhaust no, but if doing the cai yes. the two combined and you'll be lean. the newer evos dont come as rich as the 08's did.

Just put on the exhaust, wait to put on the CAI when you have money for a tune. Then wait a bit more, and get a few more parts to make it worth it. Test pipe and EBCS + CAI + protune will be the best 'cheap' round of mods you can do out of the gate.

Why risk your car? Leave it stock until you can do it right. You know this, you're just being impatient!

If you've got access to a competent tuner with a dyno, a tune is probably your most cost-effective performance improvement.
