A 6 year production run and the highest number of vehicles imported to the US of any generation evolution, does not equate to increasing in value. Ultimately, time will tell though.

I'd rather mod it and have fun with it than keep it completely stock.

That said, I'm holding off on modifications until I can't take it anymore because of the warranty.

Exactly this, I just don't see it.

I kinda hope it does happen though because that would most likely mean my IX would be even more valuable than it's already crazy inflated market value.

Also keeping the car stock just so it can hold a bit more value is crazy to me. These cars with just a TBE and a tune are a whole different experience. You're really missing out OP.

Sadly it will never reach that Supra/Rx-7 status where it appreciates in value years down the road.

However, I do think it will hold it's value as this vehicle has always had a cult following.
