ETS Intake & Aftermarket BOV & Soap Water = Leak

I installed the ETS Intake and I installed a GFB response BOV and well... the lower pipe that goes to the intercooler fits well over the BOV but the upper pipe that connects to the BOV is very loose.

For those of you that don't know... put soap in water and then run the bubbles by the BOV and around the hoses and Rev your car and have someone look for pockets of air.

Anyway, I need to know how you guys installed aftermarket BOVs with this pipe being larger in diameter that your BOV? I used tape and kept wrapping around it until it started to build up so it would fit snug. But I used the soap method and kept getting little pockets of air. So I was thinking... can I go to home depot or menards and find a smaller hose to shove into the ETS hose so I can make the Bov sit in there more snug? The tape method I used worked great... but kept getting air.. so now I have to ask... how? Did yours fit well? Did u check for leaks?

The leak is nothing major at all.. but I am convinced I can have it with no leaks!

I used regular clamps with my synapse. You should post a pic cause I'm not sure I understand your problem, your ets coupler is too big???

Is your blow off valve diameter 1.250" or 1.375"? The factory BOV is 1.375"

Thanks!

I will post a picture as soon as i can. Michael, I truly do not know the diameter of this blow off valve. I'm guessing its 1.250" then... I have now tried friction tape to expand the BOV a little so it fits into the ETS pipe.. Still getting a little leak.

The BOV i have is "Go Fast Bits TMS Respons Blow Off Valve".
