I just got my cobb ap v3 in the mail today. I installed it and chose map stage 0 because mine is stock. I cant seem to find the adjustments tab to go adjust timing or adjust my launch controls. My brother inlaw has a subaru WRX and his can adjust launch control under the tab, tuning then adjustments. I wanted to know why or is evo different from subaru's...
I'm fully stock running 93 pump gas, which stage am I suppose to put it to? Zero? or stage 1 on 93.
What's the difference between stage1 93 v403 and stage1 93 LWG v403?

Cobb has excellent documentation, I'd really try reading up a bit and you'll find the answers you seek. They spell out exactly which tune is for what modifications, and which is for stock. The LWG is generally used if you think you are overboosting or having boost creep, so use only as needed. I believe you can sometimes need to use it depending on your elevation as well so there is that to consider.
I doubt whatever you find that you will be able to modify the timings of the map. You might find something for launch control but I'm not sure if that is built in or not for EVO's as I never ran an AP with my EVO.
Good luck.

^ Agree with above. You can get information on the maps here: http://www.cobbtuning.com/maps/
You will notice a difference between the stage 0 and stage 1 maps. I had some knock issues with the stage 0, and they went away when I went to the stage 1 map. The performance difference between the 0 and 1 is fairly significant... Now, all I can think about is dropping some more money and make my way to stage 2.
The two links should answer the rest of your questions:

Haven't used cobb AP in forever but what I remember the ap for the evo doesn't allow for launch and or timing adjustments as the ap for the subaru does, you can adjust that using your laptop tho, that's what I did. I ended up getting rid of my ap and did open source because the ap is very limited unlike tephra
