So how much water does it take to engage the auto sensors? It was raining last night, my car was set to auto, and it wasn't working. Given, it was somewhat light rain

Just leave it on auto then hit your windshield with a hose. It will vary the speed depending on the amount of water that it detects (sensor behind your rear view mirror)

Great feature and very unobtrusive.

Also keep in mind your windshield washer reservoir is in the trunk along with your battery.

Why? Because racecar.

Never knew they changed the FAST key system. On my 2010 X I just put my hand on the door and it beeps that it's unlocked

The 2013's and up you got to press the door button.

It was probably flag'd as a security risk and had to re design the Fast Key System.
It is an Evolution and they kept evolving
