Basically I am an Evo X newbie. I would like to save some weight by replacing the hood and trunk(2008 MR) with carbon Fiber pieces. How much weight would i save? Is the Evo X's hood aluminum or steel. I know that the stock trunk and wing weigh a ton. But just how much weight are we talking about?

 

Hood,fenders,roof is all aluminum so do that last. Trunk first. It's heavy.

 

FYI Roof isn't aluminum if you have a sunroof
