I'm back. With a question.

Here's my story.
Owned an evo8. Sold it for a Ford fusion.

Bought an evo x.
So basically I got this car and I'm looking around and there is what appears to be a dial up line chilling in my dash tucked under the console.

No idea what this is even for.
Ideas?

I'll post one up after I get off work.
It's pretty odd...

Might be a Bass control knob line from an old amp.

No worries pic in 30 mins.
I'll even post some other pics of stuff that I have no idea what it's for.
I really need to take my whole center console off and see what's going on.

I agree about the amp connection or aftermarket radio. hell it could even be a serial connection for a wideband O2 sensor. pics would help clarify...

Looks like they uninstalled the flux capacitor.

Luckily the previous owner of mine left it in.

Just got the dash apart sorry had a sick kid.
Currently taking a bunch of pics.
The telephone line comes out if a little box labeled "smart cord".
Has a button "mute" Then some labels. "Alert" and "on"

It's for an Escort radar detector.
