So my tinter accidentally got to close with a heat gun on mg new evo x and melted the arm rest.He said he will be replacing it so I was wondering if this is part of the whole shell or a seperate piece. I told him did he know the door shell was like $500. And said he was waiting on the dealer to get back to him Monday pics below

 

I have my panels off right now and it looks like the top piece can be removed separately. Not 100% sure, but seems to be.

 

Damn hope it works out for you I'm going to get my 15' tinted next week

Yeah man **** sux...I feel for him cause he has to replace it I thought it wouldn't be too bad but $500 and all I need is that piece. The dealer emailed him as soon as it happened but they were closing they did email him a seperate part number.He said he is replacing it tho and not to worry
