Has anyone seen or heard of this exhaust?

Amazon.com: OBX Catback Exhaust 08-09 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR Evo 10: Automotive Amazon.com: OBX Catback Exhaust 08-09 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR Evo 10: Automotive

Its around my budget (21 y/o College Student) And looks just like an HKS HiPower which is awesome. I just cant find any details on it, no one seems to have it and cant find it anywhere sold besides Amazon. Ive had cheap exhausts before so the price doesnt worry me, the only thing that worries me is apparently the Exhaust looks like its 2.5" until you get to the 4" outlets. Is that holding back alot of power gains compared to a 3" wide pipe?

shop around the used market here on on FB groups. Can snag some real 3" Greddy, invidia or DC sport for that price.

I found a MXP stainless on craigs for $140 with a blown out resonator. Added $90 for muffler shop to replace it and in it 20% of the actually cost LOL

Ive been trying to find some used ones, and have had some luck. But I have almost $300 in amazon gift cards I got for my birthday so Im really trying to use them on some kinda evo part lol, and the Exhaust is the first thing I wanna do, besides an intake or accessport.

Some people will cringe when you bring up an exhaust thats less than $1000. Some people will say its just a piece of metal. I myself don't believe in spending that kind of money on something non-mechanical. I have a $350 Spec-D exhaust that I installed over a year ago. Perfect fitment, no rusting, welds are beautiful, sound is orgasmic. I haven't heard or tried the OBX but I'd say its worth a shot especially if you can use the gift cards.

The Dual burnt tip Spec-D? Ive seen that all over eBay and Amazon and at an amazing price, I just heard the fitment was a little off and the exhausts come out a little too angled. How do you like it though Is it 3" wide, have any pics? Ive been look at that one for a while, but just saw this OBX one and it caught my interest.

As for EVO drivers saying dont spend less than 1000$ for an exhaust, they're the same ones who dont like replica "fake" wheels. None of that bothers me, exhausts are just a pipe, Wheels are just wheels..

Edit:: I really like this OBX One, the only thing that worries me is that it keeps the stock 2.5" size, which Ive heard is really restrictive.

Yup, thats the dual burnt tip one! I don't have any pictures with me at the moment, I'll try to upload some when I get home later. I had no issues at all with the fitment, installation was a breeze using factory hangers. The angle is exactly how I like it, not too angled but not too straight back. The whole exhaust is 3" but the flange where it would meet the catalytic converter is reduced to 2.5" to fit factory cat/downpipe dimensions. The cat is the most restrictive part, so you won't have to worry about the 2.5" much. Another X owner in my group of friends has a brand name exhaust (I won't name which) and IMHO they sound the same, no noticeable difference in quality or performance. Keep in mind the more expensive exhausts may be made from different materials i.e Titanium vs Aluminum. But for my daily needs, Spec-D is perfect.

Thanks man appreciate the input, hope It doesnt bother you too much to take some pics of the angle, Because if its nice I might go with that over the OBX.

Apparently the invidia is one of the better single exhausts you can buy for the money. And mostly everything I have read about the spec-D is that the fitment is pretty bad, but I havent heard anything about OBX.

I remember this company from back in '01-02, they made a lot of parts for hondas and probably expanded from there. They weren't big on the evo market though but they did make parts for it.

Thanks. I don't want to go single exhaust, so I guess invidia is out. Are you going to do the OBX? I'm waiting for you to be the guinea pig. haha

Where you going to get it installed? Im local to you.
